The house cat is a small carnivorous species of mammals that are often co-habitants of humans because they are cuddly and stuff. They kill rats too so they do have some good to them.

Also a skilled predator, the cat is said to kill over 1,000 types of animals and eats their victims.
It's intelligece is questioned but can be trained to obey simple commands. Individual cats have also been known do weird things like flush toilets and open doors.
Cats have some communication and use types of body language for communication, including meowing, purring, hissing, growling, squeaking, chirping, clicking, and grunting.
Cats are common pets and are also bred and shown as pedigree pets. Long haired cats cause many alergic reactions.
